Donate Items
Hope’s Closet accepts donations of new or gently used items for children ages 0-18 years old. The items we offer to local children in foster care are meant to send a positive message of love and encouragement.
Hope’s Closet accepts baby, toddler, children, and teen clothing (up to 3 XL), as well as a variety of other items. Please see a complete list of items we accept below.
How to donate
Items can be dropped off at our Donation Door at our main location at 9850 Princeton Glendale Road, Suite C, West Chester, OH 45246.
Our donation hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon. We ask that you please bring all items in bags or sturdy boxes.
We can only accept the following items as brand new:
Socks: all sizes
Underwear: all sizes
Books
Stuffed animals
Toys
Batteries: all kinds
Baby wipes
Car seats
Diapers
Diaper cream
Formula (sealed and with expiration date)
Personal hygiene items
Deodorant (mens and womens)
Soap
Shampoo
Combs
Hair brushes
Shaving Cream
We accept the following gently used items:
T-shirts
Sweatshirts
Jackets
Coats
Shorts
Pants
Bras
Pajamas
Shoes and boots
Swimwear
Winter Items

*For equipment donations,
please ensure all parts are present.
- As a general standard, please ask yourself “Would I put my child in this?” when considering used items to donate to us. We want the children we serve to look and feel their best.
- For hygiene and safety reasons, make sure all items are clean and in good condition.
- Items should be placed in heavy-duty bags or sturdy bins/boxes.
